Marsha Kay Ehlers passed away peacefully on March 29, 2026,
surrounded by love. Born on September 15, 1951, to Donald and Authorine Eppler,
Marsha grew up alongside her three brothers — Larry, Mike, and Tom. Larry, the
eldest, survives her.
Marsha was known for her unmistakable blend of stubbornness,
sarcasm, and a deeply kind heart. She was always ready to help anyone who
needed it, often in quiet, practical ways that made a lasting difference.
A gifted crafter, Marsha poured her creativity into stamping
and making handmade cards — birthday cards, holiday cards, and thoughtful notes
that became cherished keepsakes for family and friends. She was also an avid
reader who found comfort and joy in a good book.
Marsha built a long and respected career in accounting,
spending more than 20 years with Multnomah County and over a decade in the
accounting department at Fred Meyer, where she met her husband and began the
next chapter of her life.
She had a spirit for adventure and a love of travel,
exploring nearly every corner of the United States and journeying abroad to
Paris, London, and most of Cuba. Her curiosity and independence carried her
far.
Above all else, Marsha was a devoted mother and grandmother.
She is survived by her son, Adam, and her three grandchildren — Lilli, Hayden,
and Declan — who brought her endless pride and joy.
A memorial service will be held on April 18, 2026, at 10:00
AM at Covenant Presbyterian Church,
18630 SE Division St., Gresham, Oregon.
The service is open to all friends and family who wish to
honor her life.
Marsha’s legacy lives on in the people she loved, the
memories she created, and the strength and humor she carried through every
chapter of her life.
