Longtime Boring resident, Alice Felix, 77, died Tuesday March 19th in Portland.
A funeral service will be held Monday, March 25 at 1PM at Sandy Funeral Home. Visitation is scheduled for Friday March 22, from 2-4PM.
Alice Kathern Clark was born August 25, 1935 in Portland to Mina (Carr) and John F. Clark. She was raised in the Portland area graduating from Jefferson High School in 1952.
Alice married Duane H. Probst December 11, 1954. They made their home in Boring where Alice enjoyed being a homemaker and taking care of her family. She was also an avid “yardsaler” and collected many nicknacks over the years. She and Duane were divorced after 25 years.
In 1980 Alice married George Felix. George passed away in 2012.
Survivors include, Her daughters, Debra Sorensen of Gresham, Kim Hoffman of Boring, Michelle Peppers of Boring; son Keven Probst of Portland, step children Chris Felix of Oregon City and Rebecca Farmer of Grants Pass. She was preceded by her brothers John and William.
The family requests contributions be made to the Humane Society.
