Obituary

Barbara was born on July 31, 1948 in Canton, Ohio to John and Bernice (Russell) Morris. She grew up in Canton and attended local schools for all of her education.  While living in Canton, she met William “Bill” Knepper and on August 21st, 1965 they were married. They began their new life together by starting a family in Canton before moving to Portland in 1982.  With her children grown after the move to Portland, Barbara worked for D&J Auto as the office manager until her retirement in 2008.

Barbara enjoyed many things including spending time reading, arts and crafts, crocheting but above all spending time with her family. When Barbara’s health was failing, one of her favorite thing was when her grandson would spend his time with her and read his books to her.

I'm so sorry for your loss of Aunt Barb. I'll always remember when we visited you guys, and hearing her laugh that was so contagious and she would always put a smile on my face. I always thought she was so funny. I can still here her laugh today along with my father's laugh. I don't think that's something that I'll ever forget. ❤ I know how hard it was for you all when she got sick, and you had to stand by and watch her get worse. I remember going through those same feelings, and emotions when it was my dad going through it, and how devastating it was to watch.💔💔 I'm sending you all the biggest hugs I can give you all!! If you need me for anything you know where to find me. I love you all and have been thinking about you all. ❤😘 Heather Wilson
Memories unfold as we think of you, A real mom, through and through. You suffered in silence everyday, An illness that would not go away. But now you have no more pain For God’s loving arms have healed you again. Mitch Eaton
Sending love and prayers to all of you during this difficult time. Barb was one of a kind and she was one of the most honest people I've ever known. She will be missed greatly 💔😪 Elizabeth Liotti
