Bertha Lynn Caswell peacefully passed away on August 5, 2024, at the age of sixty-eight. Lynn was a wonderful sister, wife, mother, grandmother, and friend who was always there when someone needed her the most, offering support, wisdom, and an abundance of love. She touched the lives of all who knew her and is leaving behind a legacy of kindness, resilience, strength, and her passion for quilting. Lynn loved making gifts for people and adorned the homes of her friends and family with her handmade quilts, often embroidered with notes of love.
Lynn leaves behind Larry Caswell, her devoted husband of almost 50 years; their three children, Ray Caswell, Sonja Brooks, and Randy Caswell, along with six grandchildren and four great grandchildren. Lynn is also survived by her sisters Babe Dodson, Diane Brines, Edith Karlin, Cindy Julien, and Robin Richardson, as well as countless friends who felt her warmth and generosity. Lynn was predeceased by her parents, Cecil and Dorothy DeMary, brothers Randy DeMary and Walt DeMary, and sister Jan Wamboldt.
