Welches resident, Carol Webb, died at her home on Thursday, September 20, 2012 at the age of 88.
Carol was born to George and Myrtle Neuner on February 5, 1924 in Roseburg, Oregon. As a child she was raised in McMinnville and the surrounding areas. After graduating from high school, Carol pursued her education and received her Bachelor’s Degree in education at Portland State University. She taught for many years at Clackamas High School.
Throughout her life, she lived and worked in Lake Oswego, Sheridan and McMinnville. For the last several years, she has made her home in Welches. Carol was an avid reader, enjoyed traveling and conversations with her friends. Carol enjoyed a lifetime of having pets, most recently her cat, Joe. She loved spending time with her friends and family.
Carol was preceded in death by her husband, Dr. Morris Webb, her brother, George Neuner and her sister, Betty Gray.
Carol is survived by her sons Rob, his wife, Caroline, David, his wife, Wendy and Chris Butt, his wife Katherine and three grandchildren, Carrie, Michael and Jeremy.
The family has requested any contributions made to Mt. Hood Cultural Center and Museum Arts Cabins Project, (artscabin.org) and/or Hoodland Senior Center.
