In Loving Memory Of

Charles H. Clark

September 22nd, 1946 - December 11th, 2020

Obituary

Born in Portland Oregon to Vern & Mae Clark, Chuck was the younger Brother to Terry Clark & older Brother to Phil Clark. Chuck graduated from David Douglas HS in 1964 then to Portland State University and then served in the Air Force reserves before becoming an entrepreneur. Chuck married Darlene Carol Wolf August 6 1971 and they started a family in 1972. Chuck owned his own concrete foundation business and through hard work was able to retire in his 50’s. Chuck & Darlene loved to fish and were fortunate to be able to so often. Chuck loved Baseball & Coached his Boys for several years/decades.

Chuck passed peacefully at home surrounded by his family after battling Lewy Body Dementia. Chuck is survived by his Wife Darlene of 49 years, Children Adriane, Mathew (Joy), Nathan (Michelle) & Jason (Colleen). Grandkids Brittany, Ethan, Madison, Taylor, Kendal, Ava and Ruby Mae and Uncle to many Nieces and Nephews. Chuck was an honest Man, a hard-working Man and would give his shirt off his back to anyone in need but most importantly he loved the family that he came from and that he created and nothing meant more to him. His Mother Mae Hazel (Wilson) Clark was his greatest role model teaching him how to treat everyone with respect and that is what he did with honor. Chuck will be missed but the legacy he inherited from his Mother will go on.

Chuck always had a smile and a wonderful heart. He welcomed me into the family with open arms 40 plus years ago and made me feel so excepted. What a wonderful soul he was. Truly will be missed. Ronda Wilson
Oh Cuz'n, how you are missed! I cherish the memories we made, over the decades. Your '65 or '66 yellow Ford Farlane, racing down 122nd/Marine Drive...oh you were fast! The dinners and cards we played, with spouses, each week for about 6 years...so many laughs! You were always willing to help anyone and all the help at Reunions...priceless...as you are...priceless! Thank for the great hugs, love and sharing yourself and your family. Dean, aka Roomie, has been such a support for you...you chose well. And your sons, kind, thoughtful, caring, just as Auntie Mae taught you and your brothers. The pain of your leaving is still very apparent, as I write this in tears and a hurting heart. Rest well, dear Cuz'n. Until we meet again... Cuz'n Joy
I miss you guys Phil Clark
So sorry to hear about the loss of Chuck. He was a very kind and generous man. My daughter and son attended school with the boys and played softball and baseball through Clackamas Little League. We all had a great time during those years, 😢 Kimberly Guthrie
