Obituary

Sandy resident, Dale Green, died at his home on April 29, 2013. A memorial service will be held Saturday, May 11, 2013 at 11am at Camp Howard in Corbett, OR. Contributions may be made to the family.

Dale Wayne Green was born in Arlington, Washington on April 13, 1958 to Fred and Mary (Bishop) Green. He was raised in Darington and Trout Lake as a child. After high school, Dale lived in Klickitat County working for local orchards and worked as a logger for Green Brothers and Browning logging companies. He married Laura Cannon in Hood River on March 14, 1989. He worked for Fred Meyer in the 1990s when his family moved to Sandy, making it their permanent home.

Dale enjoyed playing cards, hunting and fishing and loved to barbeque prime rib while volunteering at Camp Howard.

Survivors include his wife, Laura Green, sons, James Green of Lincoln City, Fred Green of Sandy, Nathaniel Green of Klickitat County, Washington and several siblings.
