Darwin Lamar Seamons was born on September 8, 1928 in Ogden, Utah to Gerald and Edith (Moore) Seamons.
On September 12, 1946 he entered the U.S. Army and was honorably discharged on May 8, 1948. He made his home in California after his discharge and began his career with General Motors in 1954.
On April 2, 1959, he was united in marriage to Janet Rivera in California. They began their family in California and Darwin pursued his career. In 1982, he retired from General Motors but kept himself very busy with doing wood working, home improvements and painting cars.
In 2003, Darwin and Janet moved to Oregon to be near their family. Janet passed away in October of 2010.
Darwin had a love for model trains and took great pleasure in detailing them and had a great interest for classic cars.
Surviving are his children; Patricia, Gary and his wife Gina and Darlene and her husband Jeff; his sister, Nadine; 7 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.
