Sandy resident, Diane L. Brandon, 56, passed away at home Sunday, May 20, 2018.
Diane was born May 5, 1962 in Portland to Claude and Phyllis Williams. She was raised in Sandy, where she graduated from Sandy High School in 1980. At the age of 18, Diane was diagnosed with M.S. In 1981, she married Rick Brandon. They had 2 children together and later separated.
Diane worked at Thriftway for many years before working for Brandon Logging as a bookkeeper. She retired from work in 1997 when the company closed.
In 2001, Diane was confined to a wheelchair due to her M.S. She never let her M.S. stop her. Diane attended all of her kids and grandkids activities and was an active member at Community Church of Sandy.
Diane enjoyed spending time with her family, as well as her grandkids, playing games, going to the park, and being silly with them.
Survivors include her children, Nichole and Michael of Sandy; sister Glenda of Sandy; two brothers Roger and Ron of Sandy, nine nieces, two nephews, nineteen great nieces and nephews and four grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her father Claude (2001); Phyllis (2018); and step-father Garry (2015).
