In Loving Memory Of

Doris "Susi" Winfield

August 3rd, 1937 - August 22nd, 2017

Obituary

Doris Georgette Winfield died August 22, 2017 at her home in Sandy. She was, as always, surrounded by family.

Doris “Susi” Winfield was born Doris Georgette Archibald to Melvin and Wilma Archibald in Van Nuys, California on August 3, 1937. She grew up there, and would later marry her husband, Robert, of 60 years in Burbank, California. They lived in the Wrightwood Ski area of California before retiring to Sandy. Doris was a mother, a homemaker, and a “master gardener”, as her family would describe her. She was a gardener for Bent Fork Farms for many years. Doris also loved to quilt and was the member of several quilting clubs.

Doris is survived by her husband, Robert, her son Steve and his wife Janet, her son Craig and his wife Kathleen, her daughter Christine and husband Chuck, her 3 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.

Robert- “Susi, I miss you so much and you are now at rest with peace.”

A memorial service for Doris will be held at a later date.

I'm so very sorry for your loss. I have no doubt that God will remember her and keep her memory safe. He will surely be glad to bring her back to life in a perfect world when suffering will be no more and we will all welcome back our loved ones that are asleep in death. (Revelation 21:4 & John 5:28, 29) May our loving Father bring your family the peace and comfort only He can provide. JW
Though I know that this is a difficult time for you, my hope is that you will be comforted from God's inspired word the Bible. John 5:28,29 and Revelation 21: 3,4 gives hope of a future resurrection and the complete elimination of death, pain and mourning. Under Jesus' kingdom rule we have this and much more to look forward to. Please accept my deepest condolences. For more scriptural encouragement please go to www.jw.org. Anouch
