Boring resident, Dorthey L. Jackson died at Portland Adventist Medical Center on Sunday, January 18, 2015. She was 85.

A private celebration of her life will be held. A viewing will be on Saturday, January 24, 2015 from 10:00 until 2:00 at Sandy Funeral Home.

She was born, Dorthey L. Lehr to Henry and Sophia Lehr on March 15, 1929 in Wellfleet, Nebraska.
