Longtime Sandy resident and business owner Earl Fisher passed away Thursday, April 9, 2015. He was 73.
A Celebration of Life party will be held on Saturday April 11, 2015 from noon to 8p.m. at the farm- 44515 SE Highway 26 in Sandy.
Earl Forest Fisher was born April 5, 1942 in Portland to Ellen (Nickerson) and Edward Fisher. He was raised in Portland and graduated from Roosevelt High School in 1960. He continued his education at Clark College graduating in 1962 with an Associate Degree in Applied Science.
Earl began his career in welding and fabrication. He worked on heavy equipment and in resale, eventually opening his own shop: Mt. Hood Welding in Sandy.
Earl loved the outdoors and enjoyed hunting and fishing as well as NASCAR.
Survivors include his wife Leanne; daughter, Anoinette (Charles) Russell; son, Terry (Marie) Fisher; 9 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren.
