Sandy resident, Eleanor Morris died in a Portland care facility on July 28, 2010. She was 87.
A memorial service will be held at 10:30 a.m., on August 7, at Good Shepherd Community Church.
She was born Eleanor Jeanette Peche in San Francisco, California on February 8, 1923 to Edwin and Marie Peche. She was raised in San Francisco where she completed high school.
Eleanor married Edward Charles Morris in California. They made their home in San Francisco where they raised their family. Besides working as a homemaker, she worked in the laundry business for many years.
After her husband’s death she came to Oregon to live at Sandy for the last 25 years. She enjoyed bowling, bingo, playing cards and was active in the Sandy Senior Center.
She was also preceded in death by her son, Ed Morris in 1996 and daughter, Gail Goff in 2008. Surviving is a son, Wayne Morris of Sandy; 4 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.
