In Loving Memory Of

Elizabeth Ann (Beth) Bytnar

December 13th, 1969 - February 13th, 2022

Obituary

Elizabeth Ann (Beth) Bytnar passed away on Sunday, February 13, 2022, in Sandy, Oregon.  Beth was born on December 13, 1969, to Eileen and Stan Bytnar in St. Louis, Missouri. She is survived by her parents, siblings David Bytnar, Laura Phillips, and Dan Bytnar, nephews and niece.

Beth graduated from St. Louis University with a Master of Arts Degree in Speech-Language Pathology. She was honored with the Ann Carey Outstanding Graduate Student Award by the Missouri Speech–Language–Hearing Association. Additionally, she received the National Student Speech–Language–Hearing Association Honors Award. She served as the President of the National Student Speech–Language–Hearing Association (NSSLHA).  Beth graduated as valedictorian of Incarnate Word Academy High School in St. Louis, Missouri.

She spent her career helping children with speech and language difficulties and made a significant difference in their lives.

Beth loved spending time with children, whether at her job or in her free time. She loved the Oregon coast, and she enjoyed meeting other dog lovers while on walks with her own dog, Siena. Her family and friends will miss her love and companionship.

There will be a private ceremony for Beth at Unity Church in Portland, Oregon.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Unity Church at Support Us - Unity Spiritual Center of Portland (unityofportland.org)
