Boring resident, Betty Nelson, died at her home on July 12, 2014. She was 89.

A Graveside Service will be held on Saturday, July 19, 2014 at Cliffside Cemetery in Sandy at 1:00pm. Following the service, there will be a reception at the Sandy Historical Museum 39345 Pioneer Blvd.

Our dear Betty, you will be so missed. I have known you my entire life and remember so many wonderful adventures, picnics, Tulelake parades and our mutual family dinners. You hosted our bridal shower among many other things. You were one of the most creative people we know and we still cherish the photographs you took of our children when they were babies. Your laughter and quick wit were so wonderful and always brought smiles to our faces, I have a fabulous photograph of you and Bill with my parents on their wedding day. We have always considered you and your family an extension of our family. God bless you as you make your final journey. We love you, Sandy and Brad Haydock Brad and Sandy Haydock
