Brightwood resident, Frank Jessie Curran, 82, passed away at home on Wednesday, March 11, 2015, after a long illness.
A Celebration of Life will be held at the Brightwood Tavern on Saturday, April 4th from 1-5PM.
Frank was born in Ogden, Utah, the oldest son of Francis Clifford Curran and Helen Louise Jessie. He graduated from Alameda High School, Alameda, California in 1951.
During the Korean War he was stationed in Germany and enjoyed traveling throughout Europe.
The Hoodland area has been Frank’s home since 1960 where he began working at Thunderhead, became a part owner of Log Lodge and later owned the Mountain Air Motel. He worked in sales/advertising for many years and loved traveling through the US. He was a member of VFW, American Legion and Eagles Club.
He is survived by Beverly Wence, his longtime companion, and family: Francine Curran, Rene Wence, Doug Wence, Jim Curran, Ann Curran and Michael Curran.
