Alder Creek resident, Gary Boley passed away on February 17, 2017 at the age of 65. At his request, there will not be a service, but instead a celebration of his amazing life will take place sometime this summer.
Gary was an inspiration to all who met him as he lived life with his disability with grace, honor and always with a smile on his face.
He worked tirelessly at Tri-Met, managing the LIFT program and later as a commissioner on the Oregon State Disabilities Commission.
He is survived by his wife of 40 years, Sue Boley, daughter Kristy Thomas, son-in-law James Thomas and granddaughter, Halle Thomas. He is preceded in death by his son, Andrew Boley, who passed in November, 2016.
