Gary Ernest Grubb, 77, of Battle Ground, Washington, passed away on September 24th, after a long battle with Parkinson’s.
Gary grew up in Tacoma, Washington, where he attended Wilson High School. He served honorably in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War and was assigned to the 6th Army at Fort Ord, California. Gary worked in several fields throughout his adult life, from managing and owning a small business, to serving as a long- haul truck dispatcher for many years.
Gary’s passions were his Faith, his family, and spending time in the great outdoors. His genuine love and concern for everyone around him brought joy to all those who knew him. He made all of us laugh with his sense of humor and ability to always remain positive, no matter what life threw at him.
Gary is survived by his loving wife Tamra, his sister Linda, his three children, Cindy, Gary, and Denise, his 12 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren, and his beloved dog, Kewpie.
A private burial will be at Willamette National Cemetery.
