I was sorry to hear about Gene's passing. We were roommates while attending MATC in Madison in the late 60's. We were in the same construction program and that's where I first met him. He had a gentle disposition and I remember him playing his guitar and singing. About a month ago I was thinking of Gene and decided I would try to locate where he was now to see if we could have a visit. I couldn't locate him but just heard today from a friend who was originally from the Muscoda/Blue River area that he saw his obituary in the Muscoda Progressive. I will always remember him. Curt Anderson
