Geraldine L. Booth was born on October 22, 1945 to Hilma and Verne Redmon in St. Helens, Oregon. She was the third of four children. They moved to Portland when she was a young girl and her father worked in the logging industry in Sandy. After a few years of the long commute he moved his family to Sandy where she spent the rest of her childhood years. It was a simple life, but a good life. She attended Sandy Union High School and graduated in 1964. She married her high school sweetheart, Jerry Booth and the two were married on March 27, 1965. She was a loving mother to Brian and Brad and was blessed to be a home-maker while running their home and raising their boys. Life got really good when the grandkids started arriving. She was ‘grandma’ to six beautiful grandkids Mitchell, Sam, Katelin, Isabelle, Mimi and Calvin. She loved attending any activity or sporting event that the grandkids were involved in, and cherished being kept up to date on their lives. She and Jerry enjoyed the visits to the beach and spending time in Hawaii. She grew beautiful flowers around their home and enjoyed gazing at Mt. Hood from their back windows. She was deeply loved by her husband, kids and grandkids and they will miss her terribly.
