In Loving Memory Of

Isabel Grace Franks

July 10th, 2005 - August 29th, 2014

Obituary

Sandy resident, Isabel Franks died on Friday, August 29, 2014 in a beach accident. She was 9 years old.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 5pm, Wednesday, September 3, 2014 at Abundant Life Church – Sandy Campus 16633 Champion Way, Sandy, OR 97055.
Isabel Grace Franks was born July 10, 2005 in Maplewood, Minnesota to Robert and Stacy Franks. They lived in Minnesota until 2008 when the family moved to Sandy, Oregon. In 2013 they moved to Wisconsin only to return home to Sandy, Oregon this August. Isabel attended Firwood Grade School where she was in the 4th grade.
Isabel Grace was a creative, smart, adventurous, beautiful girl who bounced, skipped and danced through life. She loved God, loved people, and lived an abundant life. She also loved the ocean; many of her happiest moments were there. She spent her last hours playing, singing and enjoying life in her favorite place. We know on that beach Jesus met her and took her from her earthly paradise to her eternal one. We will dance with her there.
Survivors include her parents, Robert and Stacy Franks; brother, Ian Franks; great grandfather, George Johnson; grandparents, Paul and Tillie Franks, Keith and Mary Hensler; uncles and aunts, Daryl and Heather Franks, Cheryl and Mike Westrom, Melissa and Ted Pate, Roland and Suli Franks, Matthew and Kelly Hensler; cousins, Charis, Madeline, Piper, Rainier, Nick, Alex, Mike, Anna, Oswin, August, Erin, Sara and Jake.

I am so sorry to have read of your loss. Please accept my sincere condolences. The Bible is a great source of encouragement at times like this. Something that I have personally found to be of great comfort is what the Bible says at John 5:28, 29 ( Do not be amazed at this, for the hour is coming in which all those in the memorial tombs will hear his voice and come out, those who did good things to a resurrection of life, and those who practiced vile things to a resurrection of judgment.) As well as Revelation 21:3,4 (With that I heard a loud voice from the throne say: “Look! The tent of God is with mankind, and he will reside with them, and they will be his people. And God himself will be with them. 4 And he will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore.) These verses show us that soon God is going to bring about a resurrection of our loved ones as well as do away with all causes we have for suffering including sickness and death. Knowing this has always comforted me and it is my sincere hope that these thoughts comfort your family as well. Again I am so sorry for your loss and May Jehovah God bring you comfort during these difficult times. S.Rubio
My sincere condolences to Isabel's dear family. No one should have to experience the sorrow of losing their loved one in death. I hope that this promise from God's Word comforts you as much as it has me. "Jehovah is close to the brokenhearted; He saves those who are crushed in spirit." Psalms 34:18; Matthew 6:9-10 ( jw.org ) Michelle E.
Robert, Stacey, Ian,
Nothing can ease the pain of losing a loved one, especially your own child. But I know from my own experiences in dealing with death at 6 years old when my Mother died, that you will always have a part of that person in your soul and with you at all times, and forever you will do things positive and make connections with others because of them and your thoughts of them. My family and I send our love and thoughts to you

We are extremely saddened to hear about this tragic accident. Coach Hensler taught us about adversity in life and compassion for one another.
