James Ralph Gerhardt (aka Jim, Jimmy, Rudy)
February 13, 1990 – November 23, 2019
Our Jim passed away unexpectedly on November 23, 2019. His passing has left a dark empty space in his family. Jim will always be the beloved son of Barbara & David Gerhardt, brother to Barb, Laura, and Dave, & uncle to Isaiah.
Jim grew up in Brightwood and graduated from Sandy High School 2008. Jim did fine detail fabrication finish work on brewery tanks and bronze sculpture. He also worked wedding events on his weekends.
Jim was mild mannered, compassionate, extremely giving, sensitive, and loving & kind to everyone. Jim was a bright light. He was quick witted and funny. He made helping his family and friends a priority. He cared about everyone around him. He loved his family more than anything, and helping to raise his nephew meant the world to him. His easy, loving, and fun spirit is embedded forever in our hearts. Snowboarding and Mt. Hood were part of Jim. He loved his job and co-workers. He loved 4th of July, the beach, warm sunny weather, road trips, and friends.
