Sandy resident Lec Hodge died at his home on September 28, 2012. He was 67.
A memorial and Potluck gathering will be held at noon on October 20th at Eagle Fern Park.
He was born James Lester Hodge in Sandy to Alfa Ray and Bertha (Proctor) Hodge on November 2, 1944. He was raised in the Sandy area where he received his education.
On September 20, 1999 he was married to Ruby Higgins at Oregon City. They made their home in Sandy where they made their permanent home.
Lec worked in the lumber mill industry for many years. He enjoyed camping, hunting, fishing and an occasional poker game. He was an avid watcher of wrestling, football and old western movies.
Surviving is his wife, Ruby; daughters, Lori Stankewitsch of Portland and Gloria Hoskins of Yakima; sons, Tim Hodge, Alan Perkins and Larry Fraly all of Sandy; 13 grandchildren and 25 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by Ruby’s son Carl.
