James Robert Scott was born on April 30, 1930 in Oklahoma. When he was 5, his parents were tragically killed in an accident. He was raised by his grandparents in Tennessee.
At the age of 17, he enlisted himself with the U.S. Army on August 29, 1946 and served in Korea. After his honorable discharge on January 22, 1948, he returned to his wife and children in Tennessee. The family later moved to Oregon and made their home in Klamath Falls. Jack worked in farming and was a cowboy. Jack and Martha Faye later parted ways but Jack remained in Klamath Falls and raised his daughter Alice.
In the early 1980’s, Jack moved to Boring where he went to work for Wilbur Booth as a Foreman for Booth Berry Farm until retiring two years ago when his health began to decline.
Jack loved his dogs, Missy, Bailey and Buddy and his cats, especially his Tommy and his Gracie. Jack loved to tell stories and share his amazing life with all who would listen, and what a story he had to tell. Jack also loved to grow his flowers and would sit on the porch for hours enjoying them.
Jack is preceded in death by his third wife Virginia of La Center WA, as well as his daughters Betty and Alice. Jack is survived by his companion and care-giver Ramona Martino of Boring, his second wife Virginia of Estacada, his first wife Martha Faye, as well as a grandson and great grandson, Tennessee.
