In Loving Memory Of

John Francis Giusto

October 16th, 1946 - September 23rd, 2020

Obituary

Sandy resident John Giusto died on Wednesday, September 23, 2020 at the age of 73.

John Francis Giusto was born in Portland, Oregon and grew up in Gresham, Oregon with parents Frank and Marion Giusto along with younger siblings Mike, Steve, Dennis, Kenny and Tina (Hovey). John graduated from Central Catholic High School in 1964 and spent six years enlisted in the Army Reserves.

In 1968 John married Sally Rhodes and they eventually made their home in Boring, Oregon where they raised their children Troy and Robin.

After retiring from the Giusto brother’s family owned and operated Arrow Sanitary Service/Oregon Paper Fiber, John and Sally enjoyed time away at the coast with family and friends riding ATV’s on the dunes. He cherished his ’56 Chevy Bel Air and loved to watch videos and hear all about his grandkid’s sporting events and horse shows. John was a gentle giant loved by all and often referred to as “Big John”.

Survived by his wife Sally Giusto of Sandy, son Troy (Shelley) Giusto of Boring and daughter Robin (Todd) Anderson of Sandy. He is also survived by four grandchildren, Taylor, Kambree, Kolben and Jennifer. He is also survived by his brothers, sister, brother in law, sisters in law and to many to count nieces and nephews that make up the Giusto family. John is preceded in death by his brother Kenny Giusto.

Due to COVID and the risk of gathering, there is no service planned at this time. The family requests in lieu of flowers, those who wish to express sympathy to consider making a donation to their favorite charity in John Giusto’s name.

Sally and Robin - I was very sad to hear about John's passing. He always had a smile on when ever I was there. I think of the both of you often, especially when I ride Angelica and remember Gracie. And when I look at my hallway photo of Toby aka one ball atall. Cherish your memories and the love that encompass those times. Judy Watson
