Brightwood resident John Shibley died at his home Wednesday October 10th. He was 58.

John was born August 27, 1954 in Hardin, Montana to Robert Shibley and Leanne Lammers. Most his childhood was spent in Oregon where he attended Welches Elementary and Middle Schools and Sandy Union High School. John worked as a logger and later on as a plastics molding specialist in Sandy. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, golf, cribbage, photography, and watching almost any kind sport.
On August 18, 1979 John married the love of his life, Camille. They made their home in Brightwood. Together they owned the Brightwood Store for several years. John and Camille went on to have two children, a boy and a girl.
John was always a loyal and giving friend, and a beloved husband and father. John worked very hard throughout his life and his first priority was always to provide for his family in whatever way he could.
John is survived by his wife of 33 years, Camille Shibley and two children (Wayne Shibley of Brightwood and Cassie Kanable of Boring), and his son-in-law (Josh Kanable of Boring).
