Sandy resident, Joseph Hay died unexpectedly due to heart failure on March 23, 2016. He was 52. A memorial service will be held at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Sandy on April 1, 2016 at 11:00 am. Private burial was held at Sandy Ridge Cemetery.
Joseph Scott Hay was born in Chula-Vista, California to Robert and Mary Jane Hay on December 30, 1963. He was raised in Goble, Oregon as a child, eventually making his way to Sandy where he worked for Cascade Marine as a technician. While serving his Lord, believing in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Joseph also attended Free On the Outside Church where he worked with people who were recently released from prison and drug addiction, he was a member of the American Motorcycle Association and Road Captain for the Christian Motorcycle Association.
Joseph loved small projects around the house, working on his boat, riding his motorcycle, but most of all he loved serving his Lord.
Survivors include; wife, Marjorie Gail Hay; children, Joshua Brian Hay and Alexis Richelle Hay; step children, Tiffany, Jacqueline, Monica and William.
