Long time Sandy resident, Joseph Waldemar Kuchta, passed away July 14th, 2021. He was 90.
Joseph was born in Chorzow, Poland on May 23rd, 1931 to Ignacy and Maria (Nowak) Kuchta.
He married the love of his life, Christal Pettke in Germany, August 18th, 1951, and together they moved to the United States of America in 1962. They lived in New Jersey for 8 years before settling in Sandy, Oregon in 1970 where they raised their two sons and two daughters. Joseph and Christal were members of St. Michael Catholic church for many years.
Joseph is survived by his son Anthony Kuchta of Gresham.
