This is over 15 years late but like Mr. Aubin, it is better with time. I knew of Coach Aubin before meeting him at Glendoveer Golf Course in 1970. Every 6th grader knew Mr. Aubin. He was playing alone, as was I. I was 11 years old. I introduced myself. I think he knew of me too. He told me to call him Ken. While I knew better, when I saw him at Columbia View in the fall I said "Hi Ken". He pulled me aside and told me that on the course he was Ken. At school it was Mr. Aubin. I completely understood and soon he became our 'Coach', and I became 'Cap'. He and Coach Crutchfield called me that because I was their team captain on multiple teams during Middle School. I will never forget. I met son Ted years later and bored him with my Mr. Aubin stories. 55 years later, it seems like only yesterday. John Hickman
Ken was one of my teachers at Columbia View Jr. HI during the 1966-67 school year. He was a great guy ! Donald Lentz
I'm sorry that I just now heard of Ken's passing. I taught with Ken at Columbia View my first two years in education. I never met a more conscientious and caring teacher. The lessons Ken taught me in those first two years stayed with me over my entire 34 year career. More than being a master teacher Ken was a fine man in all respects. Larry Welch
