Longtime Sandy resident, Larry Schlaht died at his home on Thursday, September 3, 2020. He was 80.
A private graveside service was held on Saturday, September 19, 2020.
Larry Albert Schlaht was born on April 10, 1940 in Regent, North Dakota to Edwin and Emilia (Wolff) Schlaht.
Larry spent his career in farming and as a welder.
On July 13, 1963, he was united in marriage to Virginia “Ginger” Hoard. They made their home in Sandy where they raised their family.
Larry enjoyed fishing, hunting, traveling, gardening and studying the Bible.
Surviving is his wife Ginger, his children, Terry, Todd, Kenda and Kris and 9 grandchildren.
