In Loving Memory Of

Larry Allen Huebner

March 19th, 1956 - June 25th, 2019

Obituary

Longtime Boring resident, Larry Allen Huebner died suddenly on, June 25, 2019.  He was 63.

Larry was born on March 19, 1956 in Portland to Leonard and Sylvia (Fortino) Huebner.  The family made their home in Portland where he was raised and received his schooling.  When he was 18, he joined the U.S. Navy and served in Vietnam.  After his honorable discharge, he returned to Portland and worked as a mechanic and later at Precision Cast Parts.  In 1988, he began his pool and spa (Adventure Pool & Spa) business in Sandy until retiring last summer.

Larry had a great passion for old cars and restoring them, British bikes and his horses.  He loved his grandchildren and spending time with them and he was proud of his Italian heritage and very proud and honored to serve his country.  He had many friends and was very outgoing.  He was easy to love and was the life of the party, always having a story to tell.  Larry loved and cared deeply for his mom and he would call and check on her every day to make sure she was alright.

Surviving is his mother, Sylvia Hedrick and step-father Sid Birkland of Gladstone; his children, Missy, Michael, Tonya and Santino; his fiance’ Candice Weishaar of Boring, his sisters, Debbie Green of Milwaukie and Sheri Snedeker of Washougal, Washington; 10 grandchildren and 3 nieces and 1 nephew.

Larry has been our go to hot tub guy since we bought our first one in the 80's. He was always so much fun to be around and always made time to trade jabs and stories. He could fill the room like nobody else I've ever met. He will truly be missed!! GEORGE & TERRY SKORICH
Words cannot express how sorry we were to hear of Larry’s passing. I know from our own experience that you all must be having such a hard time right now. It’s especially hard when it happens suddenly. We never forget our loved ones when they leave us. As we hold them in our hearts they hold us as well. We’re thinking of all of you who were close to Larry and hope you are comforted by the many prayers coming your way at this difficult time. John and Carol Crossen
