Laszlo was loved and admired by so many. He was a bright light in my life and I will always remember his laughter and impish grin, especially when he was teasing me about being an old maid when I was 15. I sat in church with his family many times growing up and when I came home to visit. Uncle Laszlo and Aunt Janet were strong influences in my faith journey throughout the years and I will always be so grateful to God for bringing Laszlo into our family. I know God welcomed you with arms flung wide, a huge smile and said, "Well done my good and faithful servant!" I pray peace and comfort for his loved ones throughout this time. Jennifer McCoy Swartz

I am so sorry for your loss. I will miss his jovial, fun personality. Such a kind man. Susan Bigej Backenstos
My sympathies go out to Laszlo's family at the loss of their husband, father, grandfather. If I hadn't moved to Canada in 1974, he would still be a part of my world for I would have continued to go to Smith Memorial Presbyterian Church and socialized with the friends I met there. But my very special tie to Laszlo is that back in the mid-1960s I started to babysit for his son Robby as a baby and continued to care for him for several years. I also babysat his brother Jon but not for as long. Robby was dear to my heart. He was like a son to me. My children Kevin and Karen thought of him as a brother. Laszlo and Janet and their sons have always been special to me Connie Gogel
Laszlo's photo here describes him exactly as I knew him. He was such a nice man. My heartfelt condolences to Janet, and his entire family. Karen Huston

Laszlo will be missed by many. He was a wonderful, caring and kind individual that was a pleasure to be around. For years, the "guys" would get to get to gather at a restaurant for lunch and Laszlo always would bring sometime interesting to talk about. Bob Mitchell
A perfect and wonderful picture of a wonderful man. He is going to be missed by so many friends and family. Much love. Barbara Grider
We will miss this sweet, funny Cousin! Our thoughts and prayers are with all the family. We loved him, and we love you! Larrie and Marjorie Tisdale
Rest in Peace dad. Rob Pomazi
My earliest memories when we moved to Oregon included Laszlo. Even though he was a second cousin-in-law it was like he was a favorite uncle. He was always such fun when we’d have our family get togethers. It was a special delight that my granddaughter took a liking to him at my wedding in 2016. He will be missed. My thoughts and prayers are with you. Linetta Henderson
