Dear Lily and family. Len and Lily have both been so kind and helpful to me as an itinerant missionary and to my family. They were generous with their trailer when my sister needed to haul wood. Len would put on his apron and they would both cook up a big breakfast whenever I was passing through the area, which was often. When missionary priests needed a rest the Tobias's would host them. The Tobias's have ministered to the ministers. May Jesus bless Len and say to him, "Well done good and faithful servant, welcome into my Kingdom! I was hungry and you fed me, I was homeless and you took me in....when you did it to the least of these, you did it to me." Matthew Chapter 25. Rhonda Furlong
We are very sorry for your loss. Our thoughts and prayers are with Len's, family, friends, and the Sandy Fire District. Thank you Len for your many years of dedication to the fire service. Bob Morrisey
To my “buddy”... you will be very missed. God looked around his garden And he found an empty place He then looked down upon this earth And saw your tired face He put his arms around you And lifted you to rest Gods garden must be beautiful He always takes the best He knew that you were suffering He knew that you were in pain He knew that you would never get well on earth again He saw that the road was getting rough And the hills were hard to climb So he closed your weary eyelids And whispered “peace be thine” It broke our hearts to lose you But you didn’t go alone For part of us went with you The day God called you home. Anne Niccolai Black
Lily, Jon, Brian & Wendy, We are so very sorry for your loss. Len was extraordinary human being, and we will miss him dearly. Sending you our deepest sympathy and thinking of you during this difficult time. Dave, Anne & Andrew Black
