Lewis Carl Stockam was born August 6, 1952 in Safford, Arizona to Don and LaVon Stockam. He grew up in the Boring area. Lewis attended Orient Grade School, Gresham High School, and graduated from Barlow High School.
Lewis proudly served in the United States Marine Crops from 1970 to 1972.
He married his wife, Faith, of 44 years on July 21, 1973 in Vancouver, Washington.
Most of Lewis’ career was spent as a General Laborer for the City of Portland.
In 2002, he became disabled by COPD and was no longer able to work.
Lewis is survived by his wife, Faith; daughter April; son Shane; mother LaVon; 4 brothers; 4 grandchildren Danny, Jessica, Chase and Aiden; 1 great granddaughter Sofia and 7 grandkids of the heart, the Weisz kids.
