Marjorie Ruth Kuehn was born on September 28th, 1925, on a farm in Washougal, Washington to Anna Michel Von Bergen and John Andrew Von Bergen.
“I attended Camas Schools from 1st to senior year moving to Sandy in October of 1943 to a farm on Sandy Ridge. After graduating from Sandy High School, I remained at home until meeting Walter Kuehn when he came home from his service in World War II.
On August 9th, 1947, I married Walter Kuehn. We made our home in Sandy and raised our four children.
I was a stay-at-home mother. We raised our own cattle, chickens, fruit trees and gardens. I put up the food our family ate and made my two daughters and my clothes.
I enjoyed going to the mountains and many scenic places. I enjoyed combing all the beaches along the Oregon and Washington Coast.
I attended Church at different stages of life.
My husband Walter passed away in 1995.”
Surviving are Merle Kuehn of Sandy, Linda Wagers of Hillsboro, Diane Taylor of Gresham, Dale Kuehn of Hillsboro, four granddaughters, and seven great-grandchildren.
