Boring resident, Sue Bennett passed away at her home on Sunday, December 15th. She was 82.
A Celebration of Life will be held at Living Word Fellowship on Saturday, January 4, 2014 at 11:00 a.m.
A private burial was held at Eagle Point National Cemetery.
She was born, Mary Susan Hagee to John and Laverta Hagee on April 29, 1931 in Oklahoma. She spent most of her child hood in Arizona. After completing high school, she married John Miller in 1952. They remained in Arizona and later moved to Long Beach, California where they were both employed for the City. In 1979, they moved to Grants Pass where they bought a saw shop that they owned and operated until 1998. John preceded her in death in 2001. Sue then moved to the Gresham area in 2002 to live with her daughter and husband.
On November 5, 2005 Sue was united in marriage to Bob Bennett. They made their home in Estacada and later moved to Boring.
Sue loved to sew, cook, read and cut hair. She was a lifetime member of the Assembly Of God Church.
Surviving is her husband Bob; her daughter, Laverta; her son, John; 11 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren.
