Milly was born in Peach Creek, Texas to Frank and Emma Pliska on March 16, 1925. She was the youngest of 8 children. She was raised in Philomath, having moved there as a young child. Milly attended Immaculata High School in Portland, where she was a member of the state champion basketball team.
In 1945 Milly met a handsome gentleman named Curt Lofstedt at her sister and brother-in-law’s Christmas party. They were married the following September. Curt and Milly made a home in Gresham and raised 6 children.
Curt and Milly traveled the world together, exploring many different cultures and places. Milly had several hobbies. She was part of a bowling league, an avid golfer and was known for her green thumb. Milly adored her grandchildren and dedicated much of her time to them.
Milly is preceded in death by her husband Curt, and sons Greg and Brent. She is survived by her children Linda LaFleur, Curt Lofstedt, Dennis Lofstedt, Lori Camp, 14 grandchildren, and 15 great grandchildren.
