I miss Ned ...what a lovely man. He was my neighbor and such a blessing. I miss his smile and the way he decorated his yard for every holiday..It was so jolly and was a great asset for this community. He rescued me several times . I am 86 . Last year during the awful cold snap he trudged thru the slippery snow and ice to help me get warmed up by starting my generator and restocking the wood pile. He had an apple tree that supplied me with enough fruit to bake him a pie last year. I enjoyed his company very much. He was a treasure. Nada Wisher
Ned was our good neighbor. We really enjoyed each others company very much and also help each other with our projects around our homes. Just last month we were able to celebrate his birthday with our neighbor Nada who also had a birthday just a few days apart, what a great time we had. Ned will be missed by all of us very much, I’m really going to miss him outside working around his house especially when there was an issue when something was going right and he would say WHAT A MESS. Rest in piece my friend.

Ned. I will be there tomorrow to say goodbye Guillermo Lema
We've lived next to the Lamke's for nearly 30 years and we are so grateful to have such amazing neighbors! Helen welcomed us to the neighborhood by giving us a rose bush and a few tips & tricks to ensure the plants success. To this day it continues to produce beautiful, fragrant roses and that is a true testament to the woman born with a green thumb! She had one of the most beautiful, colorful and fragrant yards around!

Needless to say we enjoyed many yard-side conversations with both Helen & Ned as well as their beloved family pet kitty-cat, who never failed to accompany them. As the years passed by we began to see less of Helen but we never had to worry because Ned went out of his way to let us know how his mom was doing. Aside from the occasional visit to our home for some much needed "guy talk", Ned never stayed too long or strayed too far from home. His priority was to be present and care for his mom and he remained focused to the end. Ned was a loving, dedicated son and terrific neighbor. It is a rare thing to meet someone in life as genuine and kind as Ned. He was a truly wonderful person whom we are proud to call our friend.

He will be missed.
Please accept or sincerest condolences.
