Norma Brundage died on Sunday, November 11, 2012 at Tender Mother’s Care, an adult care home, in Damascus. She was born Norma Laura Treen to Albert and Laura (Lane) Treen in Monroe, Washington on October 25, 1920.
Norma was raised in the northern Washington area until she graduated from Lake Stevens High School in 1939. After school, she worked as a secretary for a medical office for the U.S. government.
Norma married Charles “Russell” Brundage in Everett, Washington on March 26, 1948. They moved to Damascus in the 1970s where they made their permanent home. From 2009 to 2010, Norma lived at Avamere, an assisted living home, in Sandy.
Norma enjoyed baking, gardening, spending time with her friends Alina and Gee Gee from Tender Mother’s Care and loved her dog, Charlie, who held a special place in her heart.
She was preceded in death by her husband Charles “Russell” Brundage in 2001 and her brother Leonard Treen.
Sandy Funeral Home is handling the arrangements and a private burial was held at I.O.O.F. Cemetery in Monroe, Washington.
