Pam was born December 15, 1952 in Ashland, Oregon to Jack and Faye Marie Koken. She was raised there and graduated from Ashland High School in 1971.
Pam lived in California, Washington, and Nevada, coming back to Oregon and living in Portland since 1991. She worked as a Certified Medical Assistant at Marquis Centennial in Gresham from 2001 until illness overtook her in April of 2013. Pam had a big heart, loved music of all genres - classical, rock and old hymns, and was an accomplished pianist and artist. Her loyalty to family and friends and to her pet cockatoo Harley (predeceased) was exceeded only by her generosity in helping those in need, as exemplified by her last request to donate her organs. Pam will be remembered by her family and many friends and co-workers for her unconventional approach to life, her compassion, and her unfailing sense of humor.
She is survived by her mother, Faye Marie Koken, sister, Laura Connor Mortensen of Atlanta, Georgia, niece Sally Connor of Tampa, Florida, and many friends.
