Sandy resident Pat Taylor died Friday January 17, 2014 at Mt. Hood Medical Center. She was 74.
A memorial service was held at Sandy Funeral Home on Monday, January 20 at 1:30PM.
Patricia Louise Casteel was born April 7, 1939 in Colton, California to Alice (Botts) and John Edward Casteel. She was raised in Colton and San Bernardino graduating from Pacific High School in 1957.
Soon after graduating, on December 21, Pat married John D. Taylor in San Bernardino. They remained in Southern California where Pat worked in retail sales and as an office clerk while taking care of her family.
Pat enjoyed painting, knitting and crocheting and loved watching the “Price is Right”. She was a born again Christian and a ten year member of the Lion’s Club.
Survivors include, her husband of 56 years John; daughters, Angie Vik of WI, Valerie Taylor of LaPine and Sheri Taylor of CA; son, John D. Taylor III of Gresham; 19 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren.
