Pauline A. Miller died peacefully at her home on December 20, 2010 which happened to be her 58th wedding anniversary. She was 79.
A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Monday, December 27, 2010 at Sandy Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Cliffside Cemetery.
Pauline was born on July 31, 1931 in Venita, Oklahoma to Raymond and Lula (Weaver) Gann. In 1937 the family moved to Hillsboro.
She was united in marriage to Orville A. Miller on Dec. 20, 1952 in Forest Grove. They started their family and in 1957 moved to Boring where they made their permanent home. Pauline was a devoted wife and mother and later grandmother. She was an active volunteer at her children’s schools and involved in many community activities. She enjoyed being around people and had many cherished friendships over the years.
Pauline’s hobbies included gardening, playing Bunco and spending time with her siblings.
She is survived by her son, Terry Miller of Boring; daughters, Polly and Mariann Miller both of Sandy; 19 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren. Pauline was preceded in death by her husband Orville; sons, Richard and Philip; brother, Junior; grandson Richie; and great great grandson Kylar.
