Pauline Buhler, 88 years young, and a 65 year plus member of the Sandy community passed away on November 2, 2017 in Portland. She was eternally married to Elmer B. Buhler of American Fork Utah, in 1952. They settled in Sandy on a small farm where they raised cattle and hogs. They enjoyed making lots of ice cream and other dairy goodies which she enjoyed with her love for chocolates.
Pauline was a member of the Sandy School Board and President of the Bull Run Community Association for many years, fulfilling her love of service to the community. She also enjoyed being a Teacher in the David Douglas School district for over 35 years. Her longest stay in the district was at West Powellhurst Grade school. The secret of her favorite student was taken with her as she left this earth. She was a Pioneer Member of the Sandy LDS community and enjoyed sharing her love of the gospel with everyone. She and her husband also enjoyed regularly attending ballroom, folk and square-dancing events all over the Portland metro area.
Pauline is survived by 3 of her children and 9 grandchildren and 6.5 great grandchildren to date.
