Sandy resident, Ralph Reedie Hooton Jr. died November 25, 2019. He was 89.
Ralph was born on April 12th, 1930 in Huntington Park, California to Ralph Reedie Hooton Sr. and Frances Gertrude (Bird).
As a young man Ralph served in the United States Army during the Korean War. He spent much of his adult working life as a Truck Driver in San Diego, California. He retired in Sandy, Oregon.
On October 9, 1954, Ralph married Nancy Laura Gorath in Tijuana Mexico. She preceded him death on April 9, 2000. He is also preceded in death by his second wife Donna Johnson who passed in February 2019.
Ralph loved to garden and was an avid bird watcher.
He is survived by his daughter Karen Giesbrecht, Brother Richard Hooton, 13 grandchildren, 30 great grandchildren, and 17 great-great grandchildren.
