Boring resident Raymond Frank Snell, 50, died Thursday May 10, 2012 in Gresham.
A memorial service will be held at 12:30 p.m. on Friday, May 18 at Sandy Funeral Home.
Ray was born March 21, 1962 in Gresham to Lloyd Orville and Lois LaVerna (Linafelter) Snell. He attended Cottrell Grade School and then Sandy High School, graduating in 1980. Ray worked as a truck driver for Swartz Moving and Storage in Portland.
He enjoyed reading, doing the daily crossword puzzle and watching sports.
Survivors include his daughter, Bobbie Snell of Reno, NV; brothers, Ross Snell of Boring and Ron Snell of Vancouver, WA; sisters, Louise Maples of Olympia, WA, Gayle Alexander of Gresham, Joyce Edwards of Baker City, Lois Allen of Zig Zag and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by both parents.
The family suggests contributions be made to the Boring Fire Department.
