Sandy resident, Ronny Lee Corwin died suddenly at Legacy Mt. Hood Medical Center on Saturday December 5, 2009. He was 69.
A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, December 9th 2009 at 2:00 p.m. at Sandy Funeral Home. Private burial will be at Cliffside Cemetery.
Ronny Lee Corwin was born on November 29, 1940 to Oris J. and Zelma (Hill) Corwin in Jefferson, Missouri.
On September 6, 1986 he was married to Patricia Vincent at their home in Sandy. Ronny was a heavy equipment operator and worked in the logging industry. He was employed for Les Battles and most recently Jim Daniels. In 2000 his health began to decline which forced him to retire.
He enjoyed woodworking, remodeling, fishing, camping, boating, riding his road bike with his wife, his career and working in the woods. He also loved to decorate his yard for Christmas. In his earlier years he flew small airplanes.
Surviving is his wife Pat of Sandy; his daughter, Zelma Farrington of West Jordan, Utah; his step sons, Cary Vincent Jr. of Estacada and Ray Vincent of Novelty, Ohio; 9 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.
