I was an AME-3 in the shop with Ross. I was great friends with him from 1982-1984. And then after we stayed in touch by phone for years until his passing. I love you buddy! Ill see you on the other side someday.

I served with Ross in the navy in the early 80’s in Attack Squadron 52 onboard the USS Carl Vinson. Back then we new him as “Road Dog”. I am just now finding out he passed 1 year later via FB on our squadron site. He was bigger than life back then and was looked upon as the model sailor and a person with super human strength to work the flight deck like the way he did... no one could keep up with his pace. I am sadden I have lost another iconic shipmate and will always remember him. RIP Road Dog until we meet again. Bob Noviello
Words cannot express how sorry I was to hear this awful news. Debbie you are in my thoughts and prayers. Ross will always be remembered as the sweetest guy who swept Debbie off her feet! Love you, my friend. Jan Christopherson
I'm and remembering Ross back in the days when Cheryl included him in our gang at softball games and tournaments, what a good kid. We did not corrupt him too much, you could tell by the kind, caring man that he turned into. It was good to see him and meet his family just before Gabe, Janelle and the boys left for Montana and again last fall. My condolences to the family on your loss, he is gone too soon. Rest in peace Ross. Lissa Burnett
When hearing of Ross passing I began to reminisce fondly of our teenager years attending youth group functions and camp at Aims Community Church Blessings and Prayers to entire Jantz Family. Saundra Ross (Dunlap) Saundra Ross
Rest.....in peace Dave
We loved Ross. He was our mailman and he was always so kind to us. He loved his family
so much and his animals and his farm. We had some wonderful conversations. My husband
would always say "Let him go! He has a job to do!" He thought he might have to use one of those hooks to pull me away, because Ross was so nice to talk to. Our hearts ache for his wife and family. I can't even imagine how hard this must be for you. May God bless and comfort you.

Ross was our mail carrier - a special man who always showed interest in people and demonstrated a caring heart. If I can be of encouragement to the family, please feel welcome to connect.
