Former Sandy Resident, Roy Potter, died in Yuma, Arizona on December 10, 2012. He was 68.
A celebration of his life and potluck will be held 2:00 PM, Sunday, January 6, 2013 at his daughter, Marijane Kaden's home in Vancouver.
Roy Dee Potter was born April 13, 1944 in Portland, Oregon to Edwin and Lee Potter. He was raised in Sandy and graduated from Sandy High School. He lived various places before settling in Moscow, Idaho. He retired from Consolidated Freightways.
Roy enjoyed hunting, fishing and traveling.
Survivors include his son, David Potter of Portland; daughters, Marijane Kaden of Vancouver, WA, Melinda Potter of Porltand and Aletha Peyton of Portland; brother, Robert Johnson of Portland, John Johnson of Keiser, Oregon;10 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren
