Sandy resident, Sharron Lee Conklin, died February 4, 2017 at her home. She was 77. She was laid to rest at Willamette National Cemetery.
Sharron Lee Conklin, the daughter of Otto and June Willis, was born at home in Prosser, Washington on October 3, 1939. Shari attended Welches Elementary and is a graduate of Gresham High School. She was a successful real estate agent in the Sandy area where she resided for over 40 years making many lifelong friends and associates along the way.
Shari loved horses, gardening, the outdoors, living on the mountain, politics, and family.
She was preceded in death by her husband Ken Conklin in 1990. She is survived by four children, Cheryl Strandberg, Kelly Conklin, Phil Adams, and Bob Adams; adopted granddaughter, Cherron Adams; adopted great grandson, Tristan Tomsha; half -sisters, Edna Herbert and Jan Smay; eleven grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
Everyone knew Shari as a warrior and a survivor and this amazing woman will be missed by the many people she inspired over the years.
