In Loving Memory Of

Stacy Ann Powell

March 21st, 1962 - December 7th, 2019

Obituary

Stacy was born the daughter of Lee and Peni Powell on March 21, 1962 in Portland, Or. where the family lived until 1969, then making their home on Phelps Rd. in the Sandy, Or.

As a child Stacy enjoyed countless hours exploring the outdoors and riding her horse in the fields, down the lane, and along the Historical Bull Run Flume and Roselyn Lake.

Stacy attended Bull Run Grade School and graduated from Sandy High. Shortly after graduation she began her career in Medical Records at Kaiser Sunnyside. While working there she met one of her lifelong friends; Carol Lally.

Outside of work Stacy enjoyed many accomplishments. Gardening was a passion where she spent countless hours, placing brightly colored plants in a pot, tending to her flower beds or keeping a watchful eye on her flourishing vegetable garden. It was all a labor of love. Stacy had a great eye for interior decorating and was always helpful with sharing her ability with friends.

Stacy was always caring and helpful to others. Never forgetting to send a thoughtful card, a small gift, a meal to enjoy, or just a simple "is there something I can do to help". Her passions for the canine world was enjoyed by many pets she recused out of love.

Survivors include her daughter, Jaime Schoessler (Derek) of Vancouver,Wa. and Grandson Ryder; daughter Jenna Leonard of Vancouver Wa;

Father Lee Powell of Sandy, Or; brother Kelly Powell of Gresham, Or; and lifetime best friend (aka) sister Dorie Dodson of Sandy, Or.

My first friend when I moved to Oregon my junior year of high school. RIP Stacy Julie Griffin
Stacey was always a kind loving person. We both left Kaiser about the same time so I did not get a chance to say good bye. I cannot go to the service today, and am very sorry. Stacey will always be a warm and sad memory for me. Love to you Stacey and God Bless, Linda Cosgrove Linda Cosgrove
Were very sorry for the loss of a childhood friend. The Crenshaw Family
My deepest sympathies to the family at this time. I have many fond memories of growing up in the same school with her. She is now truly home with God. She leaves behind, a legacy of caring and love. Cameron Scott
Honestly I thought about Stacy often. She befriended me as a new kid at Sandy High and helped me to meet my high school sweetheart Jim Griffin ❤️ We worked together when Taco Time first opened in Sandy back in 1978 and had a good many laughs together. My heart hurts for for her to be gone at such a young age and my prayers go out to all of her family as well 💔 Julie (Snell) Griffin
Tallahassee and full of fun...she will be greatly missed. Pegi mezingo
Stacey was a wonderful, beautiful loving person. It was so sad to hear of her passing and all of the people she worked with miss her now and will continue to miss her.

Love to Stacey, Linda
